Management (Owner/Manager):

Employees:

6. Complaint and Resolution Procedure
Step 1: Informal Resolution
Where appropriate, employees are encouraged to address issues directly with the person involved. Management is available to offer confidential support.
Step 2: Escalation to Manager
If the issue cannot be resolved informally, it should be raised with the owner/manager for further discussion and resolution.
Step 3: Formal Complaint
A written complaint may be submitted if informal steps are unsuccessful. An internal investigation will be carried out, and outcomes may include:
- A formal apology
- Behavioural improvement plans
- Disciplinary actions (warnings, termination, etc.)
Step 4: External Support
If resolution is not achieved internally, employees may contact:
- The Human Rights Commission (www.hrc.co.nz)
- The Employment Relations Authority
